How Internet Marketing Has Changed My Life.
November 2, 2010 | 9 Comments
I have officially been fiddling around the internet in some form for about a year and a half now. My average earnings last month a day was $115.00 . This is a number that needs to continually rise in order for me to go 100% full time at it. I am sure most of you are asking why I won’t be able to go full time right now. There are a couple reason for this. For one, New York State business taxes are pretty insane. So, this dips into my earnings significantly. Second, internet marketing is not a very stable way to make money. My site can be earning one month, and earning nothing the next. So, until I “hit the big time” I don’t exactly feel comfortable leaving my other business. With that said, internet marketing has significantly changed my life – for the better!
The extra “passive” income that internet marketing has brought in has really taken the edge off financially for me. A year and a half ago when the economy tanked I suffered from sleepless nights wondering which bills I was going to skip out on this month. Prioritizing bills to figure out which ones will hurt you less to skip is an agonizing feeling. However, since internet marketing has started to bring in extra income I haven’t had this worry anymore. I even have money left over for some extra goodies! I was looking over some older posts today and I came across the following on Day 22 of my adventure into internet marketing:
“I was in Target today drooling over a cute silverware set. I started thinking what would be nice right now in life is to have a little excess income. I am not vein; I do not want an abundance of unnecessary items like multiple sets of silverware. However, having the flexibility to be able to buy a couple of “wants” here and there would be a dream come true….. [Read More from this post] “
Well, the other day I was at Target and I not only got one set of silverware, but I got TWO! Silly stuff like new and matching silverware doesn’t contribute to my everyday happiness. I will say, however, that having a little extra cash every month DOES!
Silverware I was “drooling over” in 2008 But couldn’t afford.
How has internet marketing changed your life? Or how do you hope it will change yours?
Love,
Becky

Great post Becky! Content, content, content…and good strategy. Nice pic by the way…wow!
Pretty nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed browsing your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again soon!
Hey Becky,
Congrats on the earnings. I’d actually suggest you do some things to improve the SEO on this blog though.
i.e. go into your permalinks and change your structure to /%postname%/ and that will give you “pretty URL’s” which will help with SEO. Before you make that change though be sure to install the Wordpress redirection plugin and set it to auto redirect changed URL’s (should be on by default though)
Hit me up via email if you have other questions though.

Internet Marketing has changed my life in a sense that I have the opportunity to hang out with my family more and truly enjoy life. I get to hangout with my friends and not worry about getting up early the next morning or driving in Chicago rush hour traffic as well. I had the ability to retire my parents and have them hang out with me which is probably the best thing I could have ever done in life. This was a great post Becky.
Hey Becky, great to see you’re on the up, $100/day is great! Keep going and in a few years you’ll be seeing $1000/days at this rate
