Knowing Your Weaknesses.

If I were a perfect internet marketer I would have no weaknesses. Heck maybe if I had taken at least one class in my entire life about marketing or the internet maybe I’d at least be a little a head of the game here! But instead, like I have done since day one, I guess my way threw all this… And because of this I am NOT a perfect internet marketer. Which probably explains why I am not making millions right now.

What I am though is good at knowing my weaknesses , which I have many. And as much as I hate to admit this ( I can’t believe I am going to say this to everyone!) one of my weakness is creating a clean website & landing page. In this day and age people are busy. They want to look at webpage, get a quick summery of what it is all about, click on what they want and MOVE ON. If a site is too busy, noise, congested folks tend to move on even faster. There eyes want to see what they are looking for with in the fist 15 to 30 seconds of them clicking on to your page. If they don’t see it, they click off your site. No sale for you. So sad. My problem is that I want to put ALLLL the information into the landing page. This includes lots of texted, pictures, all of it. As a result my sites tend to look unprofessional and maybe even, might I say “scam” like. If there one major thing I have learned from when I was on PPC-Coach was Less is More! Get to the point quickly & easily.

Thus, I have decided with all the extra cash I am bringing in to re-invest it back into myself and hire someone to help with my design. I tell then what I want and they aid in the creation if it. They are not going to be the full creator, or of a design assistant. I then plan to test the site for a while with PPC, and see if it converts any better. Also, figure which words I want to target for. Then , once I get the keywords picked and the site a little better I’ll start investing my time in getting the site ranked. All in all the process should take at most another 4 to 6 months. Then repeat the process over and over. Eventually maybe sell a few site or something.

To be honest my goal is only 4 or more conversions a day! Which would make more $100 or more dollars a day. Thus, bringing my total daily earnings to more then $200 a day! That’d be $73,000 a year!  I see NO REASON at all why I wouldn’t be able to accomplish this goal.  It seems like it’s right at my finger tips. Currently I have one site that is ranking on the 1st page of google with an offer that has a pay out of $33.75 . The keyword is good. The traffic is ok. However, in 6 months I’ve had only :

ONLY

2  Conversions!

BLAH! Stinky! Horrible!

So, hopefully my investment will pay off. I’ll keep you posted!
